By using ittypingtest.io you agree to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are located in the US, EU, Canada or Australia, local consumer protection laws also apply where mandatory.
1. The service
ittypingtest.io provides a free it typing test, trainer, leaderboard, AI coach and dashboard. The service is provided as-is. We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
2. Certificate purchase
- The verified typing certificate costs $10 USD (£7.99 / A$15 / C$13 / €9) — a one-off payment, not a subscription.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. The certificate is generated and emailed within 60 seconds of payment confirmation.
- Refund policy: Once the PDF certificate has been generated and emailed, the purchase is non-refundable. If you did not receive your certificate, contact us within 7 days for a replacement or full refund.
- UK consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days unless the digital download has been delivered. By proceeding with payment, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge loss of the 14-day withdrawal right upon delivery.
- EU consumers are subject to the same digital content delivery rules under Directive 2011/83/EU.
3. Acceptable use
- You may not use automated tools, bots, macros or scripts to inflate your typing speed
- You may not share accounts or create multiple accounts to manipulate the leaderboard
- You may not attempt to circumvent anti-cheat systems
- You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose
Accounts found in violation will be permanently banned. Certificates obtained through cheating will be voided and removed from the verification system.
4. Certificate validity
Our certificate is issued for demonstration purposes. While many employers worldwide accept it, we cannot guarantee every employer will do so. We make no representation about mandatory acceptance. We do not provide legal, employment or career advice.
5. Intellectual property
All content, design and software on ittypingtest.io is owned by IT Typing Test Ltd. You may use the service for personal and professional purposes. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute our content, design or word banks without written permission.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ittypingtest.io shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us (maximum $10). Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud. UK and Australian consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall first be attempted through email to [email protected]. Unresolved disputes may be submitted to the courts of England and Wales.
- US consumers — you may also pursue disputes under your state consumer protection laws
- EU consumers — you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr
- Australian consumers — Australian Consumer Law rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 apply
- Canadian consumers — provincial consumer protection legislation applies
